How it works

Your solar journey, step by step

Thirteen clear steps from signing up to switch-on. Here is what happens, what you pay and when, and what to keep ready.

  • 500+Systems installed
  • 10+Years in solar
  • 25 yrPanel warranty
  • 5.0 ★Customer rating

The process

From sign-up to switch-on

  1. 1
    Sign up or sign in

Create an account with email or Google, or leave your name and mobile number on any form. Either way you get a unique Customer ID.

  2. 2
    Choose your category

Residential, Commercial or Industrial. This decides which documents we ask for later.

  3. 3
    Upload your electricity bill

Residential customers also pick the PM Surya Ghar subsidy (up to ₹78,000) or to go ahead without a subsidy.

  4. 4
    Receive your quotation

Our team prepares it and shares it on your dashboard. It is a basic quotation for your capacity; the final price can change after the site survey.

  5. 5
    Approve initial quotation

Review it, tick Terms & Conditions and Guarantees, then approve.

  6. 6
    Pay the ₹5,000 advance

You get a payment receipt straight away and unlock the site survey calendar.

  7. 7
    Book your site survey

Pick a green date on the calendar. Red dates are not available.

  8. 8
    Meet your Success Manager

We assign a Success Manager to you. They show up on your dashboard and you are notified.

  9. 9
    Approve your updated quotation

After the site survey your Success Manager shares the updated quotation. Review it and approve before the design.

  10. 10
    Approve your solar design

We upload the design to your dashboard. Check it and approve before moving on.

  11. 11
    Choose finance or pay 30%

With solar finance there is nothing more to pay now: the ₹5,000 advance is your only payment. Otherwise (online or cash), pay 30% of the approved quotation to unlock the paperwork stage.

  12. 12
    Submit your documents

Upload the documents for your category, any optional ones for a correction on your bill, and the finance documents if you chose solar finance.

  13. 13
    Delivery, installation and net metering

Choose your delivery and installation date. Without finance, pay 60% (less the advance) before installation and the final 10% after it. Then we complete net metering.

Timing

How long each stage actually takes

The account, approval and payment stages are quick. The survey and the DISCOM stages are where the calendar depends on other people.

  1. 01

    Account and quotation

Sign up, choose a category, upload a bill and receive your basic quotation.

    Same day
  2. 02

    Approval and advance

Approve the terms and guarantees, then pay ₹5,000 to unlock the survey calendar.

    Same day
  3. 03

    Site survey

An engineer visits and records the roof, shade, board and cable route.

    Within a week of booking
  4. 04

    Design approval

Layout and equipment are uploaded to your dashboard for sign-off.

    2–4 working days after survey
  5. 05

Finance or 30% payment, then documents

Choose solar finance (no further payment now) or pay 30% of the approved quotation, then upload the documents for your category.

    Same week
  6. 06

    Installation and commissioning

Install, DISCOM inspection, net meter and handover.

2–4 days, then 1–3 weeks for the meter

Installation cannot begin before the design is approved and the 30% stage is paid, so a fast start comes from approving quickly rather than from rushing the crews.

Before you approve

What to check in your quotation and design

The quotation you receive after sign-up is a basic one for your required capacity. The final figure is confirmed after the site survey, and the design is what you approve before paying the 30% stage.

Read the design rather than only the price. Panel placement, inverter model and the structure determine how the system performs for the next twenty-five years.

Panel placement

Check that panels sit on the unshaded part of the roof and that walkway access is left for cleaning.

Inverter model and rating

The rating should match your array, and the model should be one with a service presence in Madhya Pradesh.

Structure type

Elevated or flush, galvanised or aluminium, and how it is anchored to your specific roof.

What the stage payments cover

The advance, the 30% stage and the balance should each map to clearly completed work.

Practical notes

Small things that save time later

  • Keep the mobile number on your electricity bill handy; it is used for DISCOM communication.
  • Ensure the bank account for subsidy is in the electricity consumer's own name.
  • Clear roof access before the survey, including the route to the meter board.
  • If the meter room is locked by a society, arrange access before the installation date.
  • Photograph your roof before installation so any later change is easy to compare.
  • Save your Success Manager's number once it appears on the dashboard.
